Jessica Joelle Alexander

Jessica Joelle Alexander is a Bestselling Author, Danish Parenting Expert, Speaker and Cultural Researcher. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, BBC World News, Time, Vanity Fair, NPR, Salon, The Atlantic and many more. The Danish Way of Parenting is one of the most sold parenting books of all time and Jessica’s books have been published in over 33 countries. She has been a spokesperson for LEGO on the power of play and gives talks on parenting, education and wellbeing around the world. She currently researches and writes for UC Berkley’s Othering and Belonging Institute. She speaks four languages and lives in Denmark with her husband and two children.

Iben Sandahl

Iben Dissing Sandahl comes from Denmark and is an internationally-renowned public speaker, best-selling author, psychotherapist and educator. She has more than 20 years of experienced insight into child psychology and education, which in a most natural way anchor the Danish way of practicing parenthood. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Salon, El Païs, Reader’s Digest, Greater Good Science, Elle and many more – and her main mission is to help parents raise happy and confident children. She writes for Psychology Today and leads an European Erasmus financed project on how to implement empathy in schools and institutions all over Europe. She is a wife and mother of two girls, Ida and Julie.
